Angelz On Deck prevents gun violence by connecting youth to mentorship, creative outlets, and resources—helping them navigate pathways to success. Founded in 2019 by Rachel Delesdernier, a devoted mother whose son JoJo lost his life to gun violence, Angelz On Deck stands as a testament to her resilience and commitment to sparing other families the same heartbreak. Serving at-risk youth aged 6-21, primarily Black and Hispanic teens from South Miami-Dade, we empower future leaders through education, arts, and mental health support.

Our transformative programs include the Changes mentorship program, JoJo’z Talent Expo, and Unity In Giving, which collectively serve over 500 youth and families annually. To date, we’ve impacted over 1,550 individuals through mentorship, community events, and resources that foster hope, safety, and opportunity. Angelz On Deck is dedicated to creating a safer, brighter future for vulnerable youth by bridging critical gaps in resources and support.
